Telescope

Telescope - Lyrics We're trapped by time Even if time cannot explain infinity We've lost our mind In this confusing one act play, That seems to play the jokes on me Looking through the Telescope I see a younger me I see an older you Looking through the Telescope Get a glimpse of what could be If we could twist reality, Reality The Ghosts in my bed Disregarding all the laws of sanity

My Advice

Lyrics My Advice Cover your eyes Somethings you shouldn’t see When the ugliness of people breaks out and they become really mean Your childlike innocence shouldn’t be the suffering victim, But it will Cover your ears Somethings you shouldn’t hear When the adult start screaming and the music is streaming like beer The noise is overwhelming you shouldn’t be listening, But you will Cover your lips, Things better left unsaid When your mouth

Stronger Soul

Stronger Soul "What doesn't kill you makes you stronger" used to say the Marqui de Sade... Ok I made that up, I'm not sure he ever said that. But hardship is not something you normally choose. "Stronger Soul" is about picking up the pieces and seeing the rainbow after the rain, or not... I wasn't sure this should be released. Musically I feel it's maybe not where it could be. But it exists.

Better than Heaven

Better than Heaven "To die would be an adventure" used to say Peter Pan. But death is final and brutal. It erases the energy in this dimension, the one that we perceive. And we are left with a void of that person. "Better than Heaven" started with a death. With the questions and sadness left behind. We all have our beliefs of what may come after... "Whatever you believe". But that is created

Info Junkie

All my song have stories, this one worth sharing. More than a decade ago Amanda Tiffin and I were commissioned to write songs and put on a little show for a private birthday party with a theatre group in Cape Town. It was no easy task. We had only been given some words written about the person who's birthday it was. From that we had to produce four different songs. Each one with different feel

KIPITREAL – So Long

A road trip at the end of summer in Namibia. A mystical place, the heat beating down on my non air-con car giving us the "real" experience of a place that is older than our collective memories. An abandoned railway station screamed from a distance. Many stories and ghosts there. So we stopped and I decided to record another song as part of the #Kipitreal project. No sound editing, no fixing anything, just capturing the

“This is my World” – Music Video

I have always had an affinity for misfits and alternative people. I call them the tribe. I am drawn particularly to the ones who take their "differences" and express them in art and creations, who connect us with that "other world", who have the courage to be different. I started going to the Owl House in Nieu Bethesda in the early 90's. I always thought Helen Martins was part of that tribe. It screams

It could have been you

I don't know how you got here... Maybe you were bored of Facebook or clicked on the link by mistake? Welcome...it is hard to understand why I keep producing music. The creative drive doesn't seem to switch off, and somehow forces me to express life, from personal challenges and thoughts to social commentary.Maybe it's because I've had a weird trip or because I fell on my head a lot as a child.I do derive a

Stop Motion of unplugged concert at lake Kariba

In 2013, I was lucky enough to travel to the beautiful Bumi Hills resort where myself, Joe and Russel were to entertain some private guests for a whole week-end. The evening performances went into the early hours of the morning with everyone having a great time... But what left the strongest mark for me was the unplugged concert on the beach in front of the resort with the lake and the African sunset as backdrops.
