I’ve always been drawn to songs in 6/8, it’s not everyone’s cup of tea, but I find it can create nice tension. Rhythmically you seem to be able to pull it in all directions and get away with it.

Shaun Johannes (see first post) got together with Kevin Gibson in the studio in Cape Town and recorded this killer rhythm track. I then experimented with guitar and keyboard sounds on top of it.
