of the lyrics is lost in the translation. This show explores the heart of many
of these songs, uncovers some classic songs that incorporate two languages side
by side; and offers some fresh interpretations of well-known songs with an
international flavour. It is Jorge Luis Borges who said that “The original is
unfaithful to the translation” A few of these songs are a definite example of
this with some of them having
reached the peak of their success in the translated version!
